My name is Sue Mason and I am the principle of SJM Wills & Associated Services Ltd, which was established in late 2004, having qualified for a law degree in that year, I have been a regulated member of the Institute of Professional Willwriters since January 2005.
Combined with my legal experience and the code of practice set by the IPW and Trading Standards, I am able to provide legally compliant advice and related documents to the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Provision for long term care and funeral plans.
As a member of the Institute of Professional Willwriters I have Professional Indemnity Insurance of £2million which covers your Beneficiaries, and Public liability insurance which covers me up to £5million. I also subscribe to a rigorous Code of Practice backed up by a disciplinary code.
Membership to the IPW is only available to those who pass the entrance examination, or the equivalent run by the ‘Law Society’, the ‘Institute of Legal Executives’ or the ‘Chartered Institute of Bankers’.
We are bombarded by television and the media ‘insure this and that’, ‘no-win no-pay adverts’ and yet, one of the most important things we neglect to do is, to write a will.
Please read on and hopefully I can help you.
